Arguably KL’s only authentic Tex-Mex eatery, Frontera – meaning border in Spanish – pushes the envelope with its take-no-prisoners approach in the robust, unapologetic food it serves. The eatery uses ‘time-honoured’ recipes and fresh jalapeno and habanero chillies from USA in its salsas and sauces and the quality is evident in the flavours of such signature dishes as the chicken taquitos and chimichangas. There is no reason to eat and run here however; Frontera is home to Patron tequila – a premium tequila which takes the red neck out of the drink – as well as some of the best agave margaritas this side of town. Take our word for it: it’s hard to stop at just one, or even twenty.

Tried the Stuffed Jalapenos, Chicken Nachos and Salmon (main which I can't recall the full name) for the first time - all were pretty tasty and did not disappoint. Service was fast and good as usual.
