The brainchild of erstwhile Telawi Street Bistro enfants terribles Richard and Danny, Twenty One has rapidly become one of the haunts of choice for the fast set, not least because the boys have entertainment down to a fine art, and charm – and humour - in spades (to wit: cheekily named cocktails like Better Than Badoogie!). Bistro-style cuisine is more than competently prepared and served in a minimalist but comfortable setting. Expect such classics as roasted fresh asparagus, mushroom risotto and crispy skin salmon, all served with a smile and a flourish, and remember to adjourn upstairs for post-prandial drinks and dancing. Oh, and tell mama not to wait up; it’s going to be a late one.

We were greedy and have the Y mains platter and they're a winner. Loved both risottos in the menu!
